Creating Personal Mini Book
Mini books are beginning to become popular today because with little info it can say a lot. Though there are various kinds of mini books, this essay is about how to create a personal mini book for your friends ( i.e. Buddies and relatives ). So the information in these types of mini books is mostly quotes and photos with some attractive decorations.
First take a paper of any size you wish ( an A4 size is usually good to start with ), although keep in mind how much are you going to put in your book. Then decide how many pages you require for your mini book ( that again depends on the dimensions of information you will put ). You may use decorative paper, greetings cards, flyers, old calendars and paint and wallpaper samples. Anyhow, for the moment I am going to show you the easiest way to make a sixteen pages mini book.
First, take your piece of paper. Fold the sheet of paper in half with the short sides together, then in half again. Unfold and smooth out. Next, going the opposite direction, fold in half, then in half again. Unfold and smooth out. Cut along the solid lines with scissors or a paper trimmer then stack the pages together. The steps are shown in the diagram below. So arranging the inside pages are over.
Now to bind them you can always use staplers ( normal sizes are preferred although you could use smaller ones if you suspect the pins are too large for your pages ) or fancy ribbons of your preference. After this has been done, the creative section comes which glaringly is the hardest part ( dependent on your creativity ). Its best to put footage on each page with some quotes relative to those pictures as it simplifies the mini book while making it more suggestive it is really my private recommendation but you can put anything any way you need as you know the other person's likings or disliking. The decorative part can be done in many ways, e.g, you can put glitters on the pages, cut designs from magazines and attach them with glue, use crayons or color pencils to sketch patterns, etc or combine them all together.
